Meet the Team

Tasnim Mustafa ACA

Director and Owner

Tasnim is the main point of contact for all our clients. He began his career in the city before leaving to train as a chartered accountant in central government audit, qualifying in 2010. During this time he played key roles in the audits for several high profile accounts including the UK’s foreign exchange reserves, the Treasury Solicitor’s Office, the Office for Budget Responsibility and the National Portrait Gallery. His passion for technology began when he took up the post as company secretary for a software startup called CloudFabriQ, where he set up their finance and accounting systems and reported directly to the investors. He set up Barnes & Scott in order to provide a service to London’s growing technology and digital sector.

Tasnim specialises in providing tax advice to start-ups and implementing financial systems and controls. He is an advanced user of Xero and Receipt Bank and his tax specialisms are in SEIS, EIS and R&D Tax Credits.
